The American Swedish Institute Part 1

Mom and I went to the Swedish Institute today to look at their Christmas trees which are on display until January 8th. The tree pictured above was just outside the mansion's receiving room and was decorated with the traditional straw Swedish Christmas ornaments.

Brown Christmas & Brown New Year's

This was our first brown Christmas since 2006. There's talk of snow tonight so we'll see if it turns out to be a brown New Year's as well...
