I took the above picture on my walk to Powderhorn Park today. The City of Minneapolis used to do their 4th of July fireworks, which were shot off from the island shown in the picture above, from Powderhorn Park. Mom, Dad, Sam, Pete, and I used to go see fireworks here in the 1970's.
